Main Street Manager is responsible for the city’s efforts with the national Main Street Program as well as overall economic development activities in the city. The City is in the midst of a development boom, increasing in population from 5,402 to 8,947 between 2010 and 2020, with recent year over year increase by 8.5 to 12%. The Historic Downtown is nearly 100% occupied, with new development opportunities and redevelopment of adjacent property/neighborhoods.
